"Dear community, I’d like to talk about the importance of balancing drive shafts and similar components from both a technical and economic standpoint. Obviously, an unbalanced shaft causes vibrations, which could increase wear over time. But how big of a problem is it really? Is the high cost of balancing justified by the potential increase in drive shaft lifespan?"
